The Northern Virginia Angus Association will sponsor its annual “Springtime” Sale on Friday evening at 7 p.m., April 29, at the Fauquier Livestock Market in MHrshnll

This 1977 “Springtime” S>ale will feature top quality breeding stock which have been rigidly inspected by some of Northern Virginia’s top cattlemen. The cattle are selected to promote the best interest of the Angus breed and the Angus breeders in Virginia.

All consignors are members of the Northern Virginia Angus Association, which is actively involved with BCIA (Beef Cattle Improvement Assoc.) programs and AHIR (Angus Herd Improvement Records). The Virginia Angus Association, headquartered in Charlottesville, will be managing the sale.

Special representatives will be Charles M. Peery & Charlie Stricter from “Angus Topics” magazine; Fred Harner, president of the Virginia Angus Association from Berryville, and Bill Powell of “Livestock Breeder Journal.”
