Saturday evening Mrs. “Butch” Sealock was guest of honor at a baby shower in the Baptist fellowship rooms. There were 30 present and many nice and useful gifts were received. Hostesses were Doris Williams, Frances RudaCille, Gloria Campbell, and Reba Settle.
Mrs. Edward Goranson and Mrs. Lonnie Williams visited Mr. and Mrs. Willie B. Mills in Huntly Thursday.
The Chester Gap Baptist youth group will meet in the church Saturday, April 23 at 2 p.m. All are urged to attend.
In celebration of her 82nd birthday Mrs. Harrison (Florence) Mahoney of Front Royal was honored with a dinner Sunday by her children in the Chester Gap fire hall.
