EVA L. SMITH of Flint Hill, who has been employed in the Rappahannock County Clerk’s Office for 18 years, has retired as of the end of December. However, she will remain for two weeks until the year’s-end book work is done and will also help occasionally when there is need. She was honored by fellow employees and other co-workers with a roastretirement party Friday evening at the home of Judge and Mrs. R. V. Snead at Washington. Mrs. Smith was presented an engraved silver goblet and a gold signet ring.
