geographic make-up, its difficult language and social problems will be discussed at the Library presentation. A most interesting feature of the evening will be the showing of two professional colored sound films, PAGEANT OF INDIA, which gives an overall view of all sections of the extremely varied country, and DANCING FEET, highlighting the interesting dances of India with their colorful costumes and exotic music.

The Manwarings have presented programs on India at many church and civic functions. The library staff urges everyone to come and get better acquainted with this interesting land at the January 18 program.

Recreation

The Rappahannock Athletic Association will resume its adult recreation program with a new schedule for the month of January. Beginning this weekend, men and women’s basketball will be held at the high school gymnasium at 6:30 p.m. on Saturdays. Mixed volleyball will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday afternoons at the high school. Anyone interested in playing either sport is welcome to come and sign up.
