At the sale, 48 performance tested bulls sold for $63,400 for an average of $1,321 a head. The bulls were consigned by members of the Virginia Beef Cattle Improvement Association, the sponsoring organization. All of the bulls were tested on the breeders’ farms or at one of the central bull test stations in Virginia.

The 14 Angus bulls grossed $17,675 for an average of $1,263 a head.
