In short order at last Wednesday’s meeting, the Planning Commission dispensed with a special use permit application from Marianne Wilson, recommending unanimously that she be granted approval to operate a tworoom, bed-and-breakfast on Route 522 near the Culpeper County line.
But her application set off a discussion which ended with the commissioners agreeing to redefine the bedand-breakfast business as a means of controlling the expansion of such inns into de facto restaurants.
