Two Rappahannock students placed in the Eleventh Annual Christmas Writing Contest sponsored by Samuels Public Library in Front Royal.
Alex Kelly, son of Mr. and Mrs. William T. Kelly of Castleton, won first place among fourth-graders and jStephanie Tomedan, daughter of *Ms. Karan Rodgers and Dr. Richard Macon of Flint Hill, took first place for the ninth grade. Both of these students attend Wakefield School in Huntly.
