Lillie Yowell
Lillie Coates Yowell, 90, of Peola Mills died Dec. 25 at Orange County Nursing Home.
Mrs. Yowell was a member of F.T. Baptist Church and a lifetime member of the Rappahannock Garden Club. She was a native of Madison County. Her parents were the late James Oscar and Annie Hawes Coates. Her husband was the late Joseph Lewis Yowell.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Carl (Frankie) McMillen of Upper Marlboro, Md., and Mrs. Gordon (Nancy) Starr of Erie, Pa., and four grandchildren.
A graveside service was held at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church
