Nestled among snowladen branches is perched a defense amidst danger...a haven where God’s creatures may safely hover together for warmth... where they may sleep and eat while the ravages of winter surround them. Without shelter, the spectres of death, freezing and starvation would surely conquer them. How fortunate that a kind soul knew they would need protection.

A refuge is waiting for us amidst the winds of instability that rush through our world. There we may gather to encourage one another in the warmth of God's love...to nourish our souls with the manna of sacred meditation. In 2 Corinthians 3:5 Paul proclaims, “Our sufficiency is from God.”

God has provided His house as our fortress...our defense amidst danger. Paul again assures us in Romans 8:38-39, “For I am sure that neither death...nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God.”
