She graduated from Bridgewater College in 1986 with a double mtyor in art and business administration.
After college, she decided to work for several small print shops in order to learn that end of the business. Now, Ms. Thompson can produce any design and have it cameraready for the printer. She works with several printers, and will deliver and pick up unless the client desires to do so. .
Ms. Thompson’s design capabilities also allow her to create designs for T-shirts and sweatshirts. One sweatshirt design she has completed is for a camp sponsored by the Church of The Brethren in Maryland. /
Ms. Thompson moved to Rappahannock County four years ago. She commuted to Midland in Fauquier County for two years, as Vice President/Account Executive with Ad Ventures, an advertising agency. She has also worked as a layout artist, and attended courses in graphic design at the Corcoran in Washington, D.C.
Ms. Thompson’s clients are located mostly in Rappahannock and Fauquier counties including Sunset Hills Farm, Keep Fauquier Clean, The Fauquier County Chamber of Commerce, Modular Energy Corporation, Leading Edgei Screen Printers, Bridgewater College, and Ad Ventures.
