Rappahannock News Staff Writer Rappahannock's Board of Supervisors listened Monday to residents' concerns regarding the new sixyear plan for secondary road construction.
Voting on the issue was suspended until next month's meeting by county officials who said the evening's session conflicted with the celebration of the Jewish holiday, Yom Kippur. Voting or not however, many residents came out to voice their concerns over the condition of their roads, especially those living on Grimsley Road in Flint Hill. This road, which connects Routes 729 and 647, is currently partially paved. Resident Harry Newland would like to see the remainder of the road tar and chipped as well and asked the supervisors and the Virginia Department of Transportation to consider it for rural rustic road status which basiClosings
