Adelphia is seeking candidates tor a full-time Technical supervisor and lor Service Technicians at our Loudoun/Sterling, VA location.

SERVICE TECHNICIANS Will perform customer connections and disconnection of the cable and pay services. Install drops, outlets, converters and other subscriber devices at subscriber homes. Will perform signal egress/ingress detection. High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience using hand and power tools required Prior cable experience preferred. Electronics, installation, or construction labor experience or training preferred. Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds, climb poles and work outside in adverse weather conditions Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record. Must be able to work a variety of shifts.

TECHNICAL SUPERVISOR Will hire, supervise, train and support the technical staff to operate and maintain cable TV antenna, headend, fiber and distribution systems. Monitor and organize the maintenance of all antennas, headends, fiber and distribution systems in conjunction with FCC and Adelphia requirements. An Associate Degree in Electronics or equivalent required Cable technician experience including working knowledge of TVRO, headend, design and fiber required. Supervisory experience is preferred Familiarity with cable data, cable programming, ad insertion, customer care standards, FCC testing and reporting requirements preferred Must be able to manage multiple priorities, be self-motivating, enthusiastic, and diplomatic.
