• The Rappahannock News will have an early deadline for next week's paper due to the Christmas holiday. All items for publication in the Thursday, Dec. 25 edition should be submitted no later than Friday, Dec. 19. • The Town of Washington’s Christmas party has been rescheduled for Sunday, Dec. 21 at 5 p.m. at the Town Hall on Gay Street. • On Monday, Dec. 22 the Town of Washington’s Planning Commission will hold a meeting at 7:30 p.m. at the Town Hail on Gay Street. • Rappahannock County government offices will dose at 12 noon on Wednesday, Dec. 24 and reopen Monday, Dec. 29. • On Wednesday, Dec. 24 the Rappahannock National Bank will dose at 12 noon and reopen with regular hours on Friday, Dec. 26. • Rappahannock County pubfic schools will be closed for students from Monday, Dec. 22 through Friday, Jan. 2. They wifl reopen for students on Monday, Jan. 5. The School Board and each of the school offices will be open for business on Monday, Dec. 22, Tuesday, Dec. 23 and Friday, Jan. 2.
