Christmas dinner
The Washington Baptist Church hosted its fourth annual Colonial Christmas Candlelight Dinner on Saturday evening. A large crowd enjoyed a home-cooked meal of baked ham, turkey, dressing and gravy, corn pudding, green beans and cranberry sauce, topped off with a choice of home-made apple pie or pumpkin pie and whipped cream. Rev. Rhil Bailey, pastor of the church led the festive group in singing traditional Christmas carols.
