You can make your home, yard, and landscape healthier by signing up for the high-quality Rappahannock Homeowners Workshop to be held on March 29 from 9:00 - noon at the Washington Fire Hall located in Washington, Virginia. Mac Saphir, the workshop leader, is an award-winning expert from Caroline County where he serves as Agricultural Extension Agent specializing in soils and water quality. He says that after 20 years of conducting this workshop, the experience is always exciting to him and the participants “because people come to realize how much influence they as individuals have on their own environment.”
This unusual learning opportunity is offered for free by the Rappahannock County government, thanks to a grant from the Virginia Water Quality Improvement Fund and our Clean Streams Initiative. Refreshments will be provided.
