Cai for Rappahannock artists
The fourth annual Artists of Rappahannock Studio & Gallery Tour, sponsored by RAAC, will be held November 1-2,2008. All artists who participated last year in hosting an open studio for the weekend and any other artists interested in applying to host an open studio this year should contact Cory Caulfield, 675-3214, email coryc@hughes.net or Joanne Hilty, 675-2205, email johilty@hughes.net by April 4 indcating your interest. Galleries participating last year should call or email as well. Artists wanting to' host an open studio will be scheduled for visits during April 14-25. Help for starting a career
Focus/Teensight is a nonprofit organization that provides education and employment for economically disadvantaged youths, ages 18 to 21, in Culpeper. Fauquier, Madison, Orange aid Rappahannock counties. Focus/Teensight provides training, job development and placement assistance, personal counseling, financial assistance for tuition, books and other supplies and supportive services, such as child care and transportation. Coping with grief?
Hospiqe of the Rapidan is offering a free 6week Coping with Grief -Spring Support Group on Tuesdays beginning Mar. 4 through April 8. Topics will include issues and concerns of people who have recently lost a family member, loved one or close friend. All members of the public are welcome and no prior affiliation with Hospice of the Rapidan is necessary. The support groups will be held in Warrenton at the Warrenton Visitor Center 33 North Calhoun Street from 2:00 to 3:30 pm. Reservations are appreciated but not necessary.
