to relate to his patients, and for his compassion and generosity — all of which became part of a reputation that expanded through the years. The rippling effects of his life have touched and changed the lives of countless numbers of people.
His medical practice included all ages, from obstetrics and pediatrics to his care of patients in nursing homes. He enjoyed the close friendships he built with his patients and their families. It was not uncommon for three or even four generations of a family to simultaneously be his patients.
