Old spires and new wires on Main Street will soon bring us an Internet Cafe with five times the connectivity of DSL! David and Donna Compton and their son Brian have faithfully and beautifully restored the Emmanuel Episcopal Church that was built in 1902 and served the community until 1955. However, this building is now wired with state of the art technology that will bring Sperryville and all Rappahannock residents services unavailable elsewhere in the county In addition to WiFi, there will be three Mackintosh computers for customer use, at no charge.
One can also get wired in another way at Stonewall Cafe ....100 percent Kona coflee will be available, as will Cappuccino served up from a state of the art, high tech Italian espresso machine. Donna plans to offer light fare that will include sandwiches, soup, salad and pastries. A variety of high end boutique cheese will also be sold, and eventually picnic baskets for hikers and gift shoppe items will be offered.
Brian will hve in the totally updated apartment in back of the store and hopes to present music on Friday and Saturday evenings by his friends and local artists. His parents have built a new workshop for him at their Amissville home where he will build and repair guitars.
