• Benefit cookout hosted by the Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Department, 5:30 - 7 p.m., at the junction of Route 522 & 662 West Hillsboro Road, Huntly. Cost $20 per person. Payment required by Oct. 20; checks and cash only, no walkins, rain or shine. Music provided by The Shenandoah Travelers. This is a benefit - cookout to raise money for our local firefighters. The complete meal includes London Broil, grilled chicken, baked potatoes, with fixings, corn on the cob, salad, assorted non-alcoholic drinks and dessert.
