Randy Smith of Amissville wouid put Little Boy Blut? to shame when it comes to the horn Randy entered the junior division of the horn blowing contest held recently in connection with the annual dog mart in Fredericksburg. For the sixth consecutive year he walked off with the first prize Randy is the 9-year- old son of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Smith, and the grandson of Paul J. Smith who has been his horn blowing instructor
Dr. Raymond Allen of Flint Hill will be the speaker for the PTA meeting Tuesday at Rappahannock County Elementary School. His professional career has included the practice of medicine and surgery and he was an assistant surgeon at the Mayo Clinic in 1933-36. He was an associate dean at Columbia University.
Mr. and Mrs. Thomas B. Massie of Washington announce the birth of a son Thomas Bertjamin Massie Jr., on Oct. 10 at the Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal. The Massies have a daughter, Aney Melissa Massie. Dr. and Mrs. C. F. Melton of Charlottesville are the maternal grandparents and Mrs. Wade H. Massie, Jr., of Washington is the maternal grandmother.
