Father* of M. E. Sliger
Dies In Tennessee
Rev. and Mrs. M. £. Sliger of Flint Hill, attended the funeral services Friday, for the former's father, John P. Sliger, 79, who died Wednesday night, June 7, at his home in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where he had been a resident sine* childhood. For 36 years he was a member of the Highland Park Baptist church, serving as deacon and deacon emeritus.
'Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mattie Jane Hudlow Sliger; four sons, Rev. M. E. Sliger of Flint Bill; John W. Sliger, the Rev. W. Fred Sliger of Tallahassee, Fla.; the Rev. Kenneth Sliger of 'Greenville, S. C.; one daughter, Miss Regina Sldfcer; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 3:30, from the •Highland Park Baptist church, with Or. Lee Robertson officiating. Interment was in the Chattanooga Memorial Park cemetery.
