Farmers To Tour Front
Royal Research Center
Arrangements have been completed for a tour by Rapahannock county farmers of the Front Royal Research Center and the Northern Virginia Power Company plant, as guests of the power company, June 20.
The schedule of the tour is as follows:
9:00 a.m. — Leave Courthouse at Washington.
3:30 a.m. ■—Tour Beef Cattle Research Center. To include: inspection of Angus, Hereford, and Shorthorn breeding herds; progeny tests being on transmitting ability of bulls; research breeding in herds selected for (1) type; (2) performance and (3) closed blood lines.
12f00 noon—Lunch—Royal Hotel, as guests of Northern Virginia Power Co.
1:30 p.m.—Tour Northern Virginia Power company’s new plant near Cedarville.
Advise W. H. Lyne, County Agent, if you will attend, in order that proper number of meals might be reserved by the host.
