AC conclusion oi me inspection tour the group will assemble at Royal Hotel for lunch, as quests of the Northern Virginia Power Company.
In order that complete arrange* ments can be made for lunch all Rappahannock citizens planning to attend the tour are requested . to advise the county agent or his secretary, Miss Ruby Jenkins.
Following lunch the group will inspect the Northern Virginia -Power Company plant, recently * -constructed -uear Cedarrilies- Rap*— pahannock citizens who have already been through this plant have made most interesting and complimentary reports.
* * * The twenty Rappahannock farmers who recently toured the Orange Experiment Station were favorably impressed with the ovej all program and expressed particular concern over new small grain varieties such as: Atlas 66 wheat; Andrew spmig oats; and the winter oat varieties . . . Arlington and Lee Conte. Other ex-, periments arousing much concern included: rates of seeding orchard grass and Ladino, comparison between Orchard grass and Ladino, and Kentucky 31 fescue when seeded with Ladino, the importance of using the better orchard grass and Red Clover varieties (orchard grass No. 22883 looked especially promising while Kenland and Northern Neck Red Clover have proven superior).
