AmiMviUe Bible School
To Be Held Next Week
A Vacation Bible School for the community of Amissville will be held, beginning Monday, June 19. Rev. M. E. Sliger, principal and Rev. Norman J. Flythe, associate principal.
Transportation will be furnished children who wish to come to the school and do not have a ride. Notify Mrs. Graham Hackley, of Amissville, or Mrs. Theo. Barron, Viewtawn, before Monday morning. Those children who expect to get transportation should be on the road by 8:30. The ages of children for Vacation Bfbfle School are from 4 to 15 years of age. The school will be in session from 9 o'clock to 12, Monday through Friday.

Mrs. E. S. Wagner was hostess to the Woman’s Society of Christian Service of the Washington Methodist church at hpr h'“'M Tusday evning.
Mrs. Matilda Walker lead a round-table discussion on the program topic "Why My G'*t is So Needed.”
The society members presented Mrs. Wagner, who is moving aavay from the county next month, with a farewell gift of a counterpane reproduction of the 'Minuet” pattern made by the hand looms of early America, featured- in. a number of historic homes through out the country. r- ’ ‘
