A Matter of Opinion
There's no place like Rappahannock.
It flashes upon us heavier at certain times. This is one of them.
Swelling with pride, Rappahannock citizens are sitting 'back and glorying in Miss Dollie Hite’s “My Rappahannock Story Book.” It’a a.toss-up as to whether we are proudest of the county and ita history and beauty or of Miss « Dollie for writing it all down.
Raymond Johnson says that he claims no one knows of half the the beauty of Rappahannock until he has viewed h from the Fire Tower on Red Oak mountain. He teased a lady of the county for bragging about Rappahannock’s natural glory when she had not seen the most beautiful view afforded in the county. It serves him right in printing his atate'ment, because now we want to hear him defend his belief when other folks in the county begin to point out other spots which are the most scenic — in their opinions. I hope his teasing gets him in hot water.
