Charles H. Harrison of Wood* vilie, is one of the top students at Hampton Institute. He is a senior witn a major in chemistry and a minor in mathematics. He is president of Gamma Iota chapta of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity, which is the local chapter on the 1 institute’s campus. He is also a member of the following campus organizations: Student Christian Association, Pan Helenic Council, Student Council, Men’s Council, ' the Voluntary Tutorial Staff, Beta Kappa Chi Honorary Scientific Society, National Society of Scab* bard and Blade, and an officer of the senior class. %

He has bean an honor roll stn* dent during his entire three years at Hampton. At present he has the highest grade average of any male student at Hampton. This year he was the recipient of a college scholarship which was awarded on the basis of scholastic achievement, moral character, and general promise. ,*

He is also commanding officer of the Hampton Institute R.O.T.C. Regiment holding the rank of cadet colonel. This is the first time in history that Hampton has had an R.O.T.C.
