Among the suggestions for the making of Christmas presents at home, comes this story. A lady suggests that you take a large tin can, cut the top off even, paint said can or paste picture on said can, and decorate it prettily. All fine and good, came the bewildered comment, and then what do you do with it? For what can this fancy can be used? Well, the lady doesn’t seem to know; hut after some consideration this answer came: you can put other smaller cans into the big one.
