A barn and a small adjoining building on a farm near Flint HiU were struck by lightning Friday night and burned to the ground. It seems impossible that such could have happened, for an electrical storm at Thanksgiving is unheard of in this section—but A. L Rucker and Walter Rucker, owners of the farm, are certain that it happened l They have charted ruins and a foundation of a barn to prove it.
The Rappahannock Volunteer Fire Company answered the call in a heavy rainstorm, but tMe - building was in a complete blase before the iire trucks could arrive.'
