To CARE
The offering taken last week at the Community Church School of 'Flint Hill sponsored by the Baptist and Methodist" churches of Flint Hill, amounted to $17.41 for CARE. Each church will send $8.70 to some person in need, through this organization as was the case last year. Corxespondence was received from a widow in Rome, Italy, thanking the organization for her CARE food package. Another card was received from a kindergarten doing relief work in Aus^ijia, thanking the school for two 100 per cent wool blankets and other supplies in the kit. According to the official stamp packages were received in •both cases August 20, 1950.
The cost of conducting the 1951 school 'which enrolled 112 students this year cost the sponsosr $34.73 in addition to donations.
