Red Cross Meeting
Set for Monday, June 25
The Rappahannock Chapter of the American Red Cross will hold its annual meeting at the Courthouse on MoncTay, June 25, at 8 p.m.
At the same time a representative from National Headquarters will meet with the local chapter to give information on the proposed Blood Bank project.
Rappahannock Red Cross hopes to have enough volunteers to give blood that will enable the Red Cross to send a mobile unit into the county every six months. Blood is now being shipped to Korea and is always urgently needed.
All members and friends of the Red Cross are urged to attend this meeting as this is also time for the regular' election of officers.
