Bachelor Club Dinner
Dav'e Miller entertained the bachelor club for dinner Wednesday evening at “Maple Springs,” home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Miller. Bachelors present were Jack Price, Kit Price, Gibson Whorton, and Wallace Critzer.

Mr. and Mrs. John Davis had quite-a-day Sunday at their home, “Hawthorne.” Present for a picnic lunch were: Mr. and Mrs. (Prank Grimm and their seven children; Mrs. Grimm’s sister and brother-in-law and their nine children; and Mr. and Mrs. James McCracken and their two children, all of Washington, D. C.; with the four children of Mr. and Mrs, Davis. The adults survived.
The occasion is being referred to gently as “Children's Day.”
