Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Singleton of Chicago aryved Saturday and will spend two weeks’ vacation with Mr. Singleton’s parents, >Ir. and Mrs. E. J. Singleton, at Sperryville.

A. J. Slaughter took an extended trip “around the block” Saturday, to Sperryville, Woodville, Culpeper, , Brandy, Remington, Nokesville, Warrenton, and Amissville, returning to his home on Main street Saturday evening.
Elder and Mrs. J. Harvey Daily attended a Union meeting at Barrows Hun near .Warrenton on Saturday and Sunday. Elder and Mrs. Bullard and Elder and Mrs. J. D. Holder, who have been visiting various churches in the locality and other places, have returned to the home of Elder and Mrs. Daily* for a short visit before leaving for their respective homes in Mississippi.
Mrt. Pete Scudere of Frdnt Royal was the guest Sunday of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. C. Updike. Mrs. Scudere will leave July 1 for California to join Mr. .Scudere for a month’s stay before returning with Mr. Scudere to their home in Front Royal.
