WITH CHEMICALS
Either 2,4-D, 245-T brush keller, or Animate will kill the troublesome poison ivy, says John M. Amos, associate plant pathologist at VPI.
Use the brush killer as directed on the container. Use Animate at the rate of 12 ounces in a gallon of water. Spray and plant until the foliage is w%t. Within about a week the leaves will die and the *>lant will appear dead; but sometimes regrowth akes place and a second treatment is necessary.
