Attend Camp
Members of Rappahannock High School Future Farmers of America and Future Homemakers of America enjoyed their week’s camping at Smithfield. This camp, known as Mogat’s Beach, is owned and operated by the state FFA and FHA organizations.
Activities such as swimming, boating, horseshoe throwing, soft-* ball, croquet, dancing, and fishing were enjoyed by all. ,0f course, there were sunburns, also, very much to everyone’s disgust.
Those attending were: girls— Jean Brown, Alice Mae Coughlin, Bonnie Gentry, Catherine Lillard, Lois Racer, Helen Nethers, and Shirley Weaver; boys—Harold - Brown, Bobbie Carter, Edwagd Armentrout, George Pullen, and George Lawrence. Miss Charlotte <Golladay and# R. C. Beck accompanied the group as chaperons.
