jury recommended the death penalty for a rapist. The man had a sex-criminal record, had been declared, “emotionally unstable” by psychiatrists; and yet, a parole board had turned him loose on the public.
Police departments are expected to do the work of protecting the public from crime, but when there is something that citisens could do, it is time for them to begin. If immodesty in dress is a contributing factor to these crimes, then it is time for parents to see that children and young girls are dressed modestly. If parolling of sex criminals is a factor, then citizens should protest such action of parole boards and refuse to allow these maniacs to run at large.
