Miss Elma Davis Bruce of Washington, D.C., and Buddy Smith, of Gainesville were guests Friday of Mrs. Helen Bruce and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Gore. On Saturday Mrs. Bruce, her daughters Mary Helen and Elmer Davis and son Francis Bruce and Buddy Smith left for Portsmouth to spend the week end with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Brown. Mrs. John E. Wayland, who has been spending some time with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Wayland, accompanied them to Richmond.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lucian Brown and their son Donny- and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Freeman and their son of Jonesville, N. C., arrived Sunday morning for a visit with Mr. and Mrs. George Brown. On Hbndey Mr. and Mrs. Brown and Donny motored to Alexandria for an overnight visit with Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Brown. The Free* man fantily left on Monday to visit with relatives in Baltimore.
