Entertains In Honor
Of Miss Strother
Mrs. D. D. Miller entertained Friday afternoon at “Maple ■Spring” in honor of Miss Belle Strother, who has 'been visiting Mrs. -J. W. Price and Mrs. C. J," Miller. Those playing bridge .were Mrs. E. R. Browning, Mrs. John S. Browning, Mrs. J. W. Price, Mrs. Frank Moffett, Mrs. Holmes> Hall, Miss Louise O’Bannon, and Miss Dolly Hite. Miss Strother was presented a guest prize by Mrs. Miller. Other .prizes were awarded to Mrs. Hall, first; Mrs. Moffett, traveling; and Mrs. Price, low.

Frank Moffett was a guest of State Senator and Mrs. Curry Carter at their home,“Long Meadows” Augusta county, Thursday.
Mrs. E. A. Tapp, her daughter and grandson, spent Sunday afternoon with Mrs. R. E. Luttrell.
