Met With Mr*. Turner
The Rappahannock Garden Club met Wednesday, June 27, at the home of Mrs. Lewis Turner, with 7 members and 3 guests present. Mrs* Robert M. Menefee .was' in charge of the program, giving a short talk on drying material for arrangements,, Mrs. Menefee also gave sheets containing information on dry arrangements and drying material for the arrangements. Prizes for the exhibits, which was an arrangement suitable for a new baby were awarded to Mrs. Z. H. Sealock, first; Mrs. S. E. Hening, second; and Mrs. Holmes Hall, third. The guests of the garden club at the meeting w#re Mrs. Wade H. Massie, Jr., Mrs. Pillow and Mrs. Monroe. At the close of the meeting refreshments w)ere served by the hostess.
