To Head Fire Auxiliary
The Woipen’s Auxiliary of the Rappahannock Fire Department had its regular meeting on Monday evening, July 2, on the Fire House Lawru There were tern members present. Mrs. Wade H. Massie, Jr., was unanimously* elected president of this organization. She immediately got to work puling everyone elpe to work. It was decided to have a cold plate supper for the public on August 18 on the Fire House Lawn. More will be told of this later.
The highlight of the evening was a picnic. The ladies initiated the new town fireplace. It surely cooks good hot dogs and marshmallows. You had better try it some evening.—Reporter.
