County News Notes

Mr. and Mrs. George Wood were guests Saturday and Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nethers at Woodville.

Miss Irene Keyser was the overnight guest Friday of Mrs. Will Keyser at “Pleasant View”. •Mrs. H. C. Warwick, who has been in the hospital for diagnosis and treatment, will return home to “Rockbottom” bn Saturday.

Miss Frances Walker was in Washington, D.C., yesterday to see the fireworks in celebration of July 4th.

Master Irving Downes of Riverdale, Md., is the guest of Mrs. Henry Huff at “Mt. Pleasant” for the summer months.

Miss Frankie Keyser of Washington, D.C., was the week-end guest of Mr. and Mrs. John Keyset at “Glen Eyrie.” On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Keyser and * Miss Keyser were dinner guests of Mrs. Frank Wood and Miss Mary Miller Wood. Sunday evening Miss Wood returned home with Miss Keyser for an overnight visit in Washington, D.C.

Miss Alice Wood was the overnight guest Monday of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Reid at “Rose Cottage”.

Miss Neville Wood was the overnight guest Tuesday of Miss Paula Miller at her home in Flint Hill.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank R. Bennett and daughter, Barbara Sue, of Philippi, W. Va., were the weekend guests of their brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Zinn. Other guests Sunday afternoon were Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Smith and Mr. and Mrs. Graham Hackley and son, Larry.

Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Sherman of Arlington were Sunday guests of Mrs. Sherman’s mother, Mrs. Rosalie Hackley.

Mrs. Eddie Martin was a Culpeper visitor' Friday afternoon.
