The fifth member of the panel will be R. C. Riggs, president of the Eastern National Livestock Show at Baltimore. Mr. Riggs will speak on “The Importance of Shows in the Livestock Industry.”

Following lunch, which will be served by the Warren County Home Demonstration clubs, there will be a discussion on the livestock outlook for Northern Virginia by Charles A. Burmoister, the outstanding livestock economist of the country.

The remainder of the afternoon will "Be devoted to practical demonstrations on beef cattle and sheep by G. W. Litton. The Northern Virginia Livestock Producer’s Association is made up of more than 1(H) members from Shenandoah, Frederick, Clarke, Loudoun, Fauquier, and Warren counties of Virginia, and Berkeley, Jefferson, and Hampshire counties of West Virginia. The primary purpose of the association is to create a market outlet for livestock produced in this area, afford an opportunity for the membership to buy quality livestock and to carry .out a livestock educational program of benefit to the livestock interests of the area. Each year the association sponsors the Winchester Tri-Breed Sale, Winchester Ram Sale, Winchester Summer and Winter Hog Sales, Winchester Fat Stock Show and Sale, Winchester Feeder Calf and the Annual Field Day.

Anyone interested in increasing the efficiency of their livestock program should make plans to attend this field day.
