Mr. and Mrs. Claude Cook of Flint Hill were guests recently of Mrs. Cook’s parents and sister, Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Richardson and Mrs. Carlton Chivvis, in Norfolk.

Dinner guests Saturday evening of Mrs. J. Rodes Brown were William R. Snead of Culpeper, Miss Helen Button of Luray. Mrs.Brown's Sunday dinner guests included Miss Eda Finks, Miss Eutk Todd, Mrs. R. G. Quaintance,-Mrs. H. B. Wood, and Miss Button.

B. R. Cox of. Pittsburgh, Pa., spent the week end with his family here. He was met at the airport Saturday by Mrs. B. R. Cox and Mrs. George H. Davis, Jr., and three children.

Brue Wood, John Moore, M. R. Bradford, Jr., Herbert Foster, and Gavor Foster attended the ball games Sunday in Washington, D. C., between the St. Louis Browns and the Senators.
