Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon, July 30, from First Baptist (Church, Washington, . for Brownie L. Clanagan, with liev. L. Banks officiating. Burial was in the Odd Fellows cemetery. Brownie. Clanagan, 30, is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Festus Clanagan; three sisters, Mrs. Ida Patterson, Mrls. Mildred Williams, and Miss Theresa Clanagan of Alexandria; two brothers, Earl and Robert Clanagan of Washington.

Pallbearers were James A. Freeman, David Jefferies, Andrew Fletcher, Welsey Green, Bill Yates, and Robert Summers. .5,

The First Baptist church, Washingtt n. will have homecoming on Sunday, August 5, at 11 ^.m. Rev. Robert C. Davis will speak in the morning. In the afternoon the guest speaker will . be Rev. Aaron Mackely. Rev. Mackley’s choir will render a special program of music. ' ■ ; v
