4-H Campers
The following letter has gone throughout the county to those planning to go to 4-H camp.
“The cost of attending camp and insurance for the week will be $8.50. The transportation charges twill be 70 cents, based on 31 members going. If a large number go, of course, the transportation charges will be less. 31 have indicated that they are going up ot this date. This will make the total cost $9.20.
If it is impossible for you to bring all your camp money, probably you would like to bring some of it in food. It is also suggested that heavy bed clothes may be needed if the nights are cool.

Flint Hill Scouts Enjoy
Overnight Camping Trip
The Boy Scout troop of. Flint ‘Hill went on an overnight camping trip Friday, July 27, to Elizabeth Furnace at Powell’s Fort Valley, returning to their homes Saturday. The scouts enjoying the outing were Lester Clatterbuck, Jimmie Sealock, Grady Vest, Gavor Foster, Mike Vest, Bobble Lillard, Elmer Foster, Dudley Wood, Johnnie Browning, Ben Mallory, Junior Atkins, Galley W. Smith III, and Tommie Carpenter. Accompanying the scouts on their trip were Claude Cook, Captain William Wiener, John Vest, and Nelson Atkins.
