Mr. and Mrs. Wade ti. Massie III spent the day Sunday at Colonial Beach. Mr. and Mrs. Massie had as their guest at "Hampden Hall" recently Miss Nancy Cooper of Orange.

Mr. and Mrs. George W. Settle of Powhatan were overnight guests recently of Mrs. George Settle at "Locust Grove,” Flint Hill.

Miss Nellie Johnson, who had been visiting friends and relatives in Arlington and Washington, D. C., for the past two weeks, was accompanied home on Sunday by George Carder and son, Lewis, who were dinner guests that day in the Johnson home.

Karl Hoffman was a dinner guest Sunday of Mrs. Florence Jphnson. Mrs. Hoffman and the two daughters, Diane and Susan, Who had been Mrs. Johnson’s guests for a week, returned to their home in Fairfax.

Miss Florence Fitzgerald was the week-end guest of Col. and Mrs. E. W. Raley at their home, ‘‘Ivy Cliffs,” in Harris Hollow. On Friday eening, Col. and Mrs. Raley were dinner guests of Mrs. Elizabeth DeBergh at "Harris Hollowt Farm.”
