2 Auction Sales Set
For Saturday, August 11
Two auction sales, each listing antiques, are scheduled in the neighborhood for Saturday, August 11. One sale is on the premiess of the late George L. Revercomb* ■ at Peola Mills, to begin at 11 o’clock in the morning. The other sale is at Spring Farm, east of Luray, settling a Hite estate.

For Concert Sunday
Anyone having extra folding chairs is asked to lend them to the Blue Ridge Music Festival for the concert Sunday afternoon, August 12, at Avon Mills. Please call Charles Wood at Flint Hill, 'who is in charge of audience arrangement for the concerts.

Engagement Announced
Mr. and Mrs. B. B. Williams of Huntly have announced the engagement of their daughter, Dorothy Mae, to John Kenneth Scott, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. D. Scott of Castleton.
The wedding will take place in the early fall.

Mrs. W. A. Miller has opened the “Opportunity Shop” at Washington in the building adjoining the Theatre. In addition to novelties, drugs, groceries, antiques, and a line of Williamsburg pottery, Mrs. Miller also has two tables and sells sandwiches,' ice cream, and soft drinks. • ‘
