Announcement has also been made that there will be a workshop concert on Wednesday evening, August 22, at 8 o’clock, when the chorus of students will sing. Admission to this concert will be 60 cents. Piano Recital Wednesday, Aug: 18 _William Haaker will give a piano recital Wednesday evening, August 15, at 8 o’clock in the evening.

Histories of churches published to date are: F. T. Baptist, Trinity Episcopal, Washington Presbyterian, Flint Hill Baptist, Amissville Methodist, Forest Grove Baptist, Assemblies of God, St. Paul’s at Woodville (the church that was destroyed during the tornado), Reynolds Memorial Baptist, Washington Baptist, Five Forks Regular Baptist, Amissville Baptist, First Baptist of Washington, Washington Methodist, and this week the Sperryville Methodist.

The church history page in the paper is sponsored by citizens of Rappahannock, Front Royal, and Culpeper, along with the publishing of the county church directory.

It is the desire of Hie paper to publish the history of every church in the county. There are still a number of churches where notes on the history Ire not available. Ministers, ckrricx, and people interested in'local history are asked ' tor turn-in 111' information possible .. in order that these histories may be completed.
