Address Episcopal Ladies
lire. Henry Taylor of Walkerton, state president of the ladles Auxiliary of Episcopal church, will address the ladies of Tripity, Piedmont, and Emmanuel auxiliaries, Wednesday,' August 15, at 2 p.m. in the dining room of Lee Highway hotel, Sperryville.
The ladies of the Episcopal churches are urged to avail themselves of the privilege of hearing so gifted a speaker as Mrs. Taylor.

Yesterday afternoon, at the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Jenkins, Ronnie Thornhill entertained members of Washington’s very-young set at an afternoon party of game. His two aunts, Miss Ruby Jenkins and Miss Mary Jenkins were on hand to run errands and do as they were bid.
Arriving, dressed in the height of fashion, in a strictly-tailored white linen suit and enormous green bow tie, was Steve Bailey. After a very enjoyable afternoon of being just plain boy, with'the able assistance of Page Moffett and Sam Snead, the dashing young Mr. Bailey returned home with his white linen suit appropriately decorated with -fee- cream and otheT refreshments.
Miss Carol Ann Petty voiced heT good time, by announcing that she wasn’t going honife, and tried to hide when her mother came to get her.
The other young ladie* and gentlemen present (who had a complete good time,„in spite of party clothes) included Dana Sngad, Ronnie Hawkins, fekippy Giles, Kay Johnston, Carolyn Johnston, Frank Moffett, Segar Jqnes, Ned Moffett Jones," Dicky Burke, Dorothy Davis, Alic£- Wood, Myrla Updike, H. Ufedike. Jr„ Lindw Pay ns, Dofothy Payne, Dottie Woodard, Roger Hawkins, andf Bradley Jenkins.
Cowboy and Indian favors were given to the guests, who feasted on -circus candy and animal cookies.
