Miss Mary Miller Wood, Miss Gladys Reid, and Miss Frankie Harris returned home Friday after a week’s vacation in Ohio and Kentucky.

Col. and Mrs. B. F. Miller of Richmond were guests Friday of Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown, en route to Flint Hill to visit Mrs. John J. Miller and Mr. and Mrs. James M. Settle.

Mrs. J. W. Price and J. W. Price, Jr., were guests Sunday of Mrs. Clayton Lilly at her home in Harrisonburg.

Week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Aylor were Mrs. Thomas Cozzo and Miss Joan Kelly Aylor of Washington, D.C., and Paul Stone of Martinsville. On Sunday Mrs. Aylor and her daughters, Mr. Stone and Ralph Strawn motored to Colonial Beach for the day.

Mrs. Marion Watts was a visitor in Washington on Monday.

Miss Louise Miller left Tuesday to attend the wedding of Miss Ann Revercomb in Charleston, W. Va., on Saturday, August 11.

George H. Davis IH left Monday to spend the week with his grandparents, Dr* and Mrs. George H. Davis at their home in Warrenton During the absence of her mother, Mrs; George H. Davis, Jr. Mrs. Ben Cox will stay with Miss’ Dorothy Taylor Davis. Mrs. Davis and Mrs. Lewis Turner are attending the flower judging school at, Blacksburg this week.

Guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. George Wood and Mr. and Mrs. Taylor Updike were Mrs. Robert Nethers, Mrs. John Nethers, Henry Nethers, and Robert Nethers. Mrs. Wood, iwho recently underwent an operation at University hospital, is is convalescing at her home at Washington.
