Supervisors Rescind
High Carnival Tax
The hoard of supervisors, in meeting August 1, voted to rescind its Resolution in regard to proposed increase in license tax on carnivals.
This decision was reached following a plea by the two fire companies, who stated through representatives that carnivals were one of the main sources of income for the fire companies, and this prohibitive tax would work g hardship.
At the same meeting of the supervisors a report ef the County Health Department was filed with the beard.
